X-ray fluorescence analysis
Equipment name: X-ray Fluorescence AnalyzerModel name: SEA2010LMaker: Seiko Instruments Inc.(SII) |
|
| |
| Principles and Features of Equipment |
 |
|
- Irradiating X-rays on the sample discharges electrons, and so the atom's unique fluorescence X-rays are emitted. This is detected by a Si(Li) Semiconductor detector, and so X-ray spectra are obtained from a multi-channel analyzer to obtain qualitative and quantitative data.
- Most of the elements on the periodic table can be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.
- Any type of liquids, powders, solids, etc. can be analyzed without damaging specimens.
- Analysis can be conducted promptly and exactly to give a component configuration table within 2~3 minutes. |

AA Analysis
Equipment name: Atomic Absorption SpectrophotometerModel name: SpecrAA 200Maker: Varian Australia Pty.Ltd. |
|
|
| |
| Principles and Features of Equipment |
Atomic absorption spectroscopy is an analysis method to detect absorption or emission phenomena of
radiation energy generated by irradiating radiation energy of ultraviolet rays or visible rays on the neutral metal
atoms made through a atomization device
- An analysis method to analyze impurities in the pure substance and analyze micro-metals in the minerals, organisms and various pollution specimens, being able to measure more than 60 kinds of elements and being applied to broad fields such as chemistry, pharmacy, geology, etc. as well as drinking water, inorganic matters, foods and metallic alloys |

ICP Analysis
Equipment name: Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES)Model name: JY 38 PLUSMaker: Jobin Yvon(France) |
|
| |
| Principles of Equipment |
Applies thermal energy to neutral atoms to make valence band electrons excited and then to get spectra of radiation emitted from this for use in chemical analysis
|
|
|
| |
| tion Fields |
- Composition analysis of products related to alloys, petrochemicals and polymers
- Detection of impurities contained in the industrial materials such as semiconductors metals, ceramics, etc.
- Environmental specimen: Detection of micro pollution materials contained in drinking water, river water, waste, air, soil, etc.
- Component analysis of multiple elements contained in the specimens of soil, minerals and rocks
- Detection of heavy metals in the foods, medications, fertilizers, etc.
